IDS, short for Internet Directory Services, has been around for about 5 years,  and has been growing steadily. From a small begining only covering Montague Gardens in Milnerton Cape Town to a national directory and third generation software.

IDS has moved from a high graphic manual listing process to a modern all online approach which is efficient to enlist and pay with a fully online payment gateway.

IDS has incorporated the popular pay-per-click sponsored advertising. Here you bid on keywords, the more you pay the higher your keyword will feature when a users types a keyword in, and then your sponsored link will show, for the user to click on to take then to your web site or business listing.

IDS has done away with its previous portal approach where we had a portal for each business community/hub and moved to a central web/database but is able to search from national to provicial to city/town to business community, this makes to site usuable to many more people and business where some have national markets and others local all able to use the same directory.
